01 Information We Collect

When you explicitly enable the "Data Sync Consent" within the Plugin settings, your WordPress installation will transmit specific e-commerce data to our Service. Data is never collected passively — your opt-in is required.

  • Order Details: Order IDs, timestamps, statuses, item names, SKUs, quantities, net prices, VAT/tax applied, shipping costs, and payment method.
  • Customer Information: Billing email address, first name, and last name associated with an order.
  • Marketing Data: UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) and tracking identifiers (fbclid, gclid).
  • Store Metrics: Fixed monthly costs you input in plugin settings and your base site URL (site_id).
02 How We Use the Information

We process your data strictly to provide core functionality of the Profit Warden analysis tool. No secondary use, no advertising, no profiling.

  • Calculate accurate per-order profit margins and identify loss-making orders.
  • Generate and send periodic financial reports via email.
  • Correlate order revenue with your marketing campaigns (Meta Ads / Google Ads) in the Ads Integration Dashboard.
  • Send threshold alerts (breakeven/loss alerts) to your configured admin email.
03 Data Storage, Security & Retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of your e-commerce data.

API calls are authenticated using your unique API Key — secure, encrypted channel only.

We only retain data for as long as your account and the Data Sync feature are active. If you disable the service, you can request the complete deletion of your data by contacting us.

04 Third-Party Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your e-commerce data or your customers' data to any external parties.

Data is processed solely on our secure servers to generate analytics for your exclusive use.

⚠ Ads Integration exception: If you use the "Ads Integration" feature, anonymous or aggregated conversion data may be relayed to advertising platforms (Meta or Google) strictly according to the configurations and OAuth access tokens you provide.
05 Your Data Rights (GDPR)

As the store owner and Data Controller, you retain full ownership of the data sent to us. You may exercise the following rights at any time by contacting us at info@beratemplate.com.

Access
Request a copy of all data associated with your site_id.
Correction
Request correction of inaccurate personal data we hold.
Deletion
Request complete deletion of all data linked to your site_id.
Portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
